The East Texas Piney Woods Chapter of the American Red Cross presents Red, White & You with the American Red Cross hosted by Paula Prince, mid-day personality with KYKX, on Longview/Kilgore Cable channel 26 every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. and every Saturday at 6:00 p.m. The show features local volunteers, safety tips, annual campaigns and other partner agencies. This month our special guest is from the Got Paws Animal Shelter.

The goal of the show is to make the East Texas community aware of the services that the Red Cross provides, and what we do locally on a day to day basis. A new show will air monthly discussing different topics such as disaster preparedness, fire safety and prevention, services to the armed forces, water safety, tornado season, and much more. A special guest will be featured on each show. The goal is that after watching the show, many individuals will learn about various volunteer opportunities and additional new information about the American Red Cross.  Through the help of the community, the East Texas Piney Woods Chapter has been able to serve the East Texas Area for over ninety years.
